Close the Hope Gap: Empower Young Women’s Futures
Polished Pebbles partners with corporations to provide girls with real-world exposure, mentorship, and opportunities that pave the way for their future careers. With the support of over 125 corporate and community partners—including Bloomingdale’s, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, ComEd, Lettuce Entertain You, Sophy Hotel, and Chicago Public Schools—our students gain hands-on experience through job shadowing, internships, and networking opportunities.
In 2025, we’re seeking to expand our corporate partnerships to broaden our programs and community outreach.

Parents & Caregivers
Polished Pebbles is dedicated to bridging the “hope gap” experienced by many girls. Our core programs and mentoring opportunities expand horizons by introducing girls to a career pipeline. We empower girls to be engaged leaders in school and at home, preparing them for a future full of professional opportunities through work-study offerings. Through our programs, girls learn essential professional communication skills, conflict resolution, and career exploration, setting them on a path to success in diverse industries.

Schools & Educators
Polished Pebbles offers an innovative approach to professional development and career readiness to prepare girls for the future workplace. Our curriculum enhances academic engagement while fostering leadership through participation in school and after-school clubs. We collaborate with schools to provide job readiness projects, workplace job shadows, and career panels, introducing girls to various industries and inspiring them with role models.
