Polished Pebbles Girls Mentoring Program is excited to announce an upcoming event during Women’s History Month in March 2025, featuring distinguished alumna Kaija Caldwell. A University of Missouri graduate, Kaija has built a successful career training racehorses in Lexington, Kentucky. She will return to Chicago to share her journey, insights from her time with Polished Pebbles, and her experiences in the equestrian industry.
The Chicago Children’s Equestrian Center, founded in 2021 by Vincent ‘Tip’ Sherrod and Kristen Pierce-Sherrod, is the venue for the upcoming Polished Pebbles event. The center empowers youth through equine experiences, offering training in various disciplines such as Dressage, Show Jumping, and Rodeo events.
At Polished Pebbles, were re-creating life-changing experiences for young girls through our Cowgirl Collective event, where they will learn about equestrian careers, leadership, and confidence-building.
